Mark your calendars... July 5th is Papa's bday and the 2nd weekend of July is the reunion in Brady at Brady Lake which will also include a bit of a 50th anniversary for Granny and Papa, so if you can make the Saturday meal event it would be great...we've booked 2 cabanas from Thursday - Saturday...they have electricity and water and also allow RV to hookup alongside them...we've got a new 3rm cabin tent also and 2 cots...we are going a few days early to get some fishing in...hoping to have the boat situation taken care of by then...Aug 14th is the weekend we'll do your Dad's 50th bday bash...more info as we get closer to that...he has it all planned what he wants...no need to go against the grain...it's his bday!!! so I figure we just make sure he has everything he needs to do what he wants...any suggestions on gift? ... Sept 3 is Granny and Papa's actual 50th anniversary and we're looking at a surprise gathering at their house...just us kids and APat...they are expecting the reunion thing but we thought we could get more personal with them that weekend...everyone is encouraged to talk about how they have enfluenced us in our personal journeys in our life thus far...anyways...that's a couple of things to mark on your calendar if you can make it...
oh yeah, and I'd love to come stay a couple days with each of you...my summer is pretty open cuz I'm only going to 2 conferences...
dad and I have also talked about finding a 2-3 day span of time where we can all make a mad dash for NY, stay in a hostel and just backpack through the city til we drop dead ... keep that in mind...maybe we can pull that off before school resumes next fall...

We're off Labor Day (Monday) so I'll probably take Friday off, drive in Thursday and make it a 4 day weekend.
I think you're staying with me for a few days after NY in June. If we go back, it'll have to be in August for me. The 9-11 I might be in Milwaukee though.
